Teaching Strategies
Authentic, ongoing observational system for assessing children from birth through Kindergarten. It helps teachers to observe children in the context of everyday experiences, which is an effective way to learn what they know and can do.

Assessment
Baseline assessment that identifies developmental needs quickly and accurately. It allow teachers to easily identify potential developmental delays and giftedness in language, motor, self-help, social-emotional, and cognitive skills. Observations help teachers record and organize important observations.

Dual Language education is an effective approach to developing language proficiency and literacy in English and Spanish. Two-Way Immersion dual language education, i.e., one day English one day Spanish, integrates native English speakers and native Spanish speakers for academic content instruction through both English and Spanish.

Dual Language programs promote bilingualism and biliteracy, grade-level academic achievement and cross-cultural competence in all students. Students maintain their native language while adding another language, and they develop pride in their own culture while developing an understanding of others.
